IN MEMORY OF
MY FRIEND
SERGE CLAPA
I have known this gentle soul for almost four years. He welcomed me to be an active part/member in his Estoteric Art Community. He quickly became a trusted and beloved friend. Serge wrote this beautiful dream for a very special person in his life, "Karry". I was honored that he trusted me to enough to know his dream.

Once upon a time, there was a funny little man with very, very big dreams.. So big a dreamer was he that he dared to dream that he could win the heart of a fairie queen. This fairie queen was an especially kind and wonderful being and when this funny little man with big dreams approached her with the intent to become her suitor, she saw how big the funny little man's dreams and how big the funny little man's heart were and she took pity on him. "Fairies do not walk upon the ground" she told him. "And funny little men can't fly. But halfway between walking and flying, there is the dance.. If you can dance with me, little man, we can be together in this middle world between fairie land and earth." So the funny little man with the very big dreams, although he didn't know how to dance, accepted the challenge. "Surely", he thought, "the Gods and Goddesses will see my heart is true and will give me the skill and grace I need." But the Gods and Goddesses do not reward hubris.. funny little men who dream of winning the hearts of fairie queens must do so on their own or fail without heavenly intervention.
The little man's big dreams and big heart alone were not enough to give wings to his clumsy feet. When the music said "let go", he held on. When it said "step lightly", he stomped.. When he tried to sweep her off her feet, he stepped on them instead. When the music stopped, she flew away as fairies must fly away from things that might ground them and he, having learned his lesson, went home and never again, dared to dream dreams bigger than he...
The moral of the story: "Funny little men who cannot dance have no business even dreaming of the love of a fairie queen."
